Bhupender Yadav, born on June 30, 1969, in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India, is a prominent Indian politician and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Currently serving as the Union Cabinet Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change since 2024, he has been a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha representing Rajasthan since 2012 and won the Alwar Lok Sabha seat in 2024. Educated with a Bachelor’s degree and LL.B. from Government College, Ajmer, Yadav began as a student union leader and later excelled as a Supreme Court advocate. Appointed BJP National Secretary in 2010 and National General Secretary in 2014, he has been a key strategist, leading the party to victories in elections across states like Rajasthan (2013), Jharkhand (2014), and Gujarat (2023). Known as the “Committee Man,” he has chaired 12 parliamentary committees, earning widespread respect.
